Who controls your data

Enquiry form

When you submit an enquiry via the form on our website, we receive your email address, the description of your idea, the project areas you select, your chosen website language and the URL of the page from which the enquiry was sent.

Your email address and a description of your idea are required so that we can reply; without them, the enquiry cannot be sent. Selecting project areas is optional.

We process this data solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract). We retain this information for the duration of our correspondence and for up to 24 months after our last exchange. If we enter into a contract, the retention periods set out in that contract and under applicable law will apply. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Enquiries reach us by email and are therefore technically processed on our behalf by our website hosting and email service providers, acting strictly on our instructions and never for their own purposes.

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to measure website traffic. Analytics cookies are only placed on your device if you give your consent via the banner at the bottom of the site.

With your consent, Google Analytics records which pages and sections you visit, how you interact with the site (for example, playing the showreel or selecting a service or language), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country and city). Two cookies are used: _ga and _ga_TDRSR38E2Y, which remain valid for up to 2 years.

If you do not consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all and no data is sent to Google. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time via the ‘Cookies’ link in the website footer or the button on this page; doing so deletes the analytics cookies.

Google may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. For further details, please see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary browser storage

We store two settings in your browser’s local storage: your language preference (visart-lang) and your choice regarding analytics cookies (visart-consent). These entries are strictly necessary for the website to function properly, are not used to track your behaviour, and remain solely on your device.

Server logs

Like most websites, our server retains technical request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL and browser details) for no longer than 30 days. These logs are processed strictly to ensure the security and stability of the website on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Other information

All fonts, videos and audio files are served directly from our server – the website does not load them from third-party networks. The link to the website’s creator, Black Sugar, leads to an external site governed by its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please email hello@visart.lt – we will respond within one month.

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or the supervisory authority in the EU Member State of your habitual residence.

If the way our website operates or how we process data changes, we will update this policy accordingly. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.
